Last time I wrote about a party it was at a fire hall and I said other than having a party at a church hall it does not get more American. Well I was wrong and have to add another all american venue, the VFW hall, or in this case the tent in the back of the VFW.
This Veterans of Foreign Wars hall is in Royersford PA. A large part of the hall was recently burned down in a fire which is why we landed in the backyard with a tent.
No problem, in the backyard with a beautiful summer night, cold drafted Yuengling and Miller, a great tent, food, and music. (How come no Sly Fox?)
The music was vintage mid 60s, 70s era. Here is David, the music man, waiting for his cue.

Being a true rock star he takes a moment to pose with Pam the Birthday Girl.

Folks from all over came to celebrate. Here are aunts, Bert, Charlotte, and Marie who came with family from New Jersey and Scranton.

The real rock n rollers, Jayne and Doc, each on their fifth marriage, pose with their adopted daughter Pam.

David, age three, says, Yo! Dude, what’s with the camera in my face!
Party On.
How Lucky are We.
